About the Configuration Estimate

How the estimate is calculated

The running total is built from two parts:

• Platform base price — a starting figure for the selected satellite bus (Sparrow 1U, Sparrow XL, Kestrel 3U XL, or Osprey 6U XL).
• Selected options & services — each subsystem, interface, and add-on service you choose adds its own cost. Some items (such as solar arrays, orbit, and launch timing) scale with the size of the platform.

Why it’s only an estimate

Every mission is different. A formal quote depends on details that the configurator cannot capture on its own, including:

• Final payload specifications, mass, power, and integration requirements
• Orbit, launch window, and ride-share availability
• Regulatory, licensing, insurance, and ground-segment specifics
• Quantity, schedule, and any non-standard engineering work
